TRIP ADVISOR My wife and I stayed at the Great George in 6/06 for two nights. We were treated to a first class experience that was the highlight of our trip to PEI. There was not a single detail that was not attended to, the room was fantastic and the breakfast was an unexpected pleasure. Homemade cookies and coffee were always available. The staff was incrediblely helpful, pleasant and unassuming. In fact, my wife lost her glasses and when we called the hotel from home they searched the room, found the glasses and promptly shipped them back to us. Don't miss the Great George.
TRIP ADVISOR The Inns is a top-of-the-line property - they do everything right. The staff is wonderful and the range of rooms offers something for everyone. Our suite was in a traditional looking building, but the rooms were modern and soothing with comfortable leather sofas and bedding that was a dream! The evening cookies were delicious and the breakfast was plentiful. We were very sorry to have to leave when it was time for us to move on to our next destination.

This Inn is unlike any other I've ever been to. The staff could not have been any more willing to please and were as proud of the Inn as I'm sure the owners must be. The feeling was more like staying at a close friends house than at an Inn. Location is in the heart of all that's good in historic Charlottetown. Incredible value for top quality accommodations.

This is a great small hotel. I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and this is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in. 4+ stars. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are extremely comfortable, well decorate and furnised with antiques.I've stayed at IGG twice (June 2003 and July 2001) and enjoyed both stays a lot.The included Continental+ breakfast is a nice bonus with freshly backed pastries, fresh fruit, etc.

Well we just got back from our PEI vacation and I can't say enough about the Inns at Great George...it was wicked awesome! The town and country package was OUTSTANDING...I want to thank Paul, Dawn and Tammi at the Inns for making our stay one of the best times we ever had! There is no doubt that we will be back!

This is the most wonderful spot on PEI to spend and enjoyable weekend. My wife and I stayed in one of these suites ( 2 floors all to ourselves ) ,with a wonderful living room ,complete with fireplace downstairs and a huge loft type bedroom ( with double hot tub ) and a balcony and both levels. The staff are wonderful and really make you feel welcome. The furnishings and surroundings are second to none! We will be returning soon! Thanks IGG and all your staff.

The Inns on Great George are in the perfect location to get to know Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island! Historic properties right in the middle of everything, yet quiet and relaxed. Would definitely stay here again!

The Inns, a small "collection" of properties located all in a row on one of Charlottetown's historic downtown streets (they're almost laneways!) is a great find and exceptional value on PEI. Although Charlottetown is a tiny city that can be walked in one morning, the location of the inns is notable - right downtown and precisely halfway between the harborfront and Province House, one of PEI's landmarks. The ambience and decor recall the Victorian era of the architecture, without being stuffy at all - there are just enough contemporary touches like the maple flooring and window shadings to elevate the inns from being just kitschy and precious to really sophisticated. Similarly, the service is extremely professional and efficient - what I would expect from a much larger and prominent luxury hotel chain. The free breakfast is a treat - the usual continental suspects, plus great little quiches - that you casually take back to the numerous armchairs and sofas in the lobby. They bring out little lap tables to help you out. Stay at this one - it's truly a cut above your typical "Victorian Inn" type place.

The Inn on Great George is by far the best place I have vacationed at. The staff was very friendly and inviting. There is nothing that these people would do for their guests. We loved it there and can't wait to go back. You won't be disappointed by staying here.
